"Would you like an adventure now...
...Or shall we have our tea first?" - Alice in Wonderland
Dotted around Llandudno are a series of sculptures inspired by Lewis Caroll's Alice In Wonderland; on our last visit here we found the Hatter along the front and so stopping by on the way home, to see if we could find the rest, seemed like the perfect way to end the day after a stroll along the promenade.

Earlier, we wandered around the quaint walled harbour town of Conwy, home to its magnificent castle.
It was so inspiring to see little signs of spring popping up everywhere, especially the beautiful yellow flowers that grew on the castle walls; the gaping wooden slats between the stone walls on the other hand, not so much haha

Bravely descending the castle walls, we headed through the town towards the harbour front, also home to Britain's smallest house (sadly closed), where we befriended the most beautiful grey cat.

The rest of the afternoon was spent wandering around the harbour enjoying being outside in the fresh air. amidst the peace and quiet.
After a rather grey and cloudy start, the sun naturally started to poke it's head out just as we headed off with the intention of heading back; it didn't take Sam long to decide that actually the sword we found in the Knight shop was far too cool to leave behind. So, back we went, up the city walls into the town, before returning with a sword and a slight detour across the Conwy Suspension bridge.
