Searching for magic at Bodnant Gardens

We went searching for magic at one of my favourite gardens, Bodnant NT in North Wales, this bank holiday weekend. We discovered it around every corner, with the birds flitting to and fro, their uplifting birdsong accompanying the melodic sound of running water from the streams and fountains. 

After our quest to find the perfect bench location ( we were spoilt for choice!), we finally stopped for a well earned lunch break and a spot of sketching 'en plein air'.

Can you spot the goslings? After a slice of homemade banana bread and watching this little family wander around for a little while, we headed off to wander back through this beautiful and truly magical garden.
