North Western Wanderings

Once upon a time, Sam & I stumbled upon a glimpse of this stunning cherry blossom tree in the window of The Florist, Liverpool... , so, when my sister came to visit recently we took the opportunity to finally visit this beautiful location. It truly is stunning inside!

We had such a fun week showing my sister around all our favourite places, these are just a few of the highlights, in no particular order! We barely stayed in the house so watch this space for a few additional posts aside from this one....

Leonardo da Vinci at The Walker Art Gallery

A definite highlight of this week for me! A huge admirer of Leonardo da Vinci's sketchbooks I was extremely excited when I heard about his upcoming exhibition last year. We definitely went around the room a few times haha before stopping at my favourite permanent statue room of the art gallery on the way out.

After walking our feet off this afternoon around all our favourite Liverpool sites, it was time to head back for a cup of tea before our next adventure.

When you go down to the woods today....

It was pure magic on this afternoon down at Formby Woods, genuinely felt like something out of Snow White, as a jay and then a crow flew through the branches overhead, a rabbit hopping around the trees whilst the beautiful red squirrels were edging ever closer...
