Laburnum Archway at Royden Park
Another beautiful day! We couldn't think of a better way to spend it than exploring the walled garden at Royden Park, where we found this beautiful Laburnum Arch... Not quite in full flower yet but with the sunlight filtering through the leaves it was just as pretty to photograph and inspire!
After wandering around the quirky garden, we settled on a lovely little secluded spot to sit and draw for a while whilst Sam sat and watched the birds flitter about the bird feeders. See if you can spot him by the sundial haha.
We found the last of the bluebells too, perfectly accompanied by this beautiful illustrated guide created by Agnes from We Are Stardust.
Artists at work... We spent quite the happy afternoon here in the sunshine, drawing flowers and watching the bees buzz around.
Lauren from Aurelia Haze Co. doing what she does best! Absolutely mesmerising to watch as this blank page fills up with beautiful, flower ink sketches.
Time for lunch! We found the perfect spot in the field next door to set up for our first picnic of the year.
On the way home, after a walk through the trees, we couldn't resist one last little stopover at Thor's Stone, Thurstaston.
